What Causes Nausea And Stomach Bloating After Removing Mirena IUD?
Hi! I had my mirena removed on April 28. I felt awdul after I had it removed, by I had no previous problems with it. I was super crampy and bloated and even nauseous at times. Since then, the last 4 weeks have shown no signs of a period at all. My husband and I are trying to conceive our second child and because I m a teacher, it is important for me to be pregnant (Lord willing) by October. I have never had issues in the past with my body adjusting post birth control. I have always been very regular when it comes to my cycle until mirena. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
All birth control can have such an effect. In such cases, where the individual is in a hurry to have her periods and even try and conceive, you will need the help of a doctor. Who will first try and induce a withdrawal bleed. Once that occurs, the next step will be the make sure your cycle is regular. And only after that will your doctor prescribe a few medications and an ultrasound to check on and stimulate ovulation. Once this is done, you should be able to conceive sucessfully (God willing). But be patient, this process should take at least 3 months, and possibly more.
Best wishes.
