What Causes Nausea And Stomach Upset After Taking Protonix?
Helll doctor, I have been having chronic Acid reflux for many years. I usually take protonix and other acid reflux media to control my symptoms. Lately, my stomach gets very upset easily meaning like nausea feeling if take alene or antibiotics or others. I get like light headed, sometimes cramps and similar to IRB symptoms. I. 2010 I had endoscopy done and it showed that I had a lot of acid in my stomach. This makes my life very hard and I need your advice. Please let me know. Thanks

It could be due to conditions like gastritis.
As of now, you can take antacids like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.
