Hello,

It is understandable to be concerned but pancreatic cancer would not typically cause sore throat.

The pancreas is in the abdomen and though persons may sometimes present late, the symptoms are abdominal symptoms such as abdominal pain et cetera.

Nausea can have many different causes and pancreatic cancer is not one of the more common causes.

If you are still concerned though symptoms not in keeping (that is natural with your family history), then you can have an ultrasound done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
