Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For about a week, I have been really hungry, but anytime I eat I get immediately nauseous and throw up. I am not pregnant. I have had ulcers in the past, but this doesn t feel like that. I would love some input. I tried fasting for two days, but it just made me super grouchy and hungry, and now I can t even eat a piece of bread without getting sick.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of nausea and vomiting after eating which seems to due to gastrointestinal disturbances. It could be due to electrolyte imbalance and acute gastritis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take antiemetic like domperidone and ranitidine for gastritis. You should take plenty of fluids. You need to reduce the quantity of food taken per meal. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined. If you will feel severe symptoms of vomiting you should go to hospital and get antiemetic injection and intrvenous fluids after proper consultation. Avoid sharp, spicy and oily food.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
