What Causes Nausea And Vomiting After Taking Trazodone To Induce Sleep?

I was prescribed Trazodone for sleep and it made me very nauseous and I threw up several times. Should I stop taking it or is there something to take to prevent it? I took it at night with food. My first dose was last night. I started with 50 mg, was prescribed 100 mg. I ended up taking the other 50mg.

Well come to HCM
Such symptoms could be due to drug induced gastritis and this can be best avoided if you start taking "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 30 mg once in day" till you complete the course of given medicine, take care.
