What Causes Nausea And Vomiting Along With Abdominal Cramps?

Hi...2 days ago, I became nautious and vomited violently around 4-5 times. I had some cramps and have had a headache since then. I believe I broke some blood vessels around my lips also. The white of my left outer eye is extremely yellow and the eyes inside the lower lids are bloodshot. Could this be caused by bile and/or the extreme pressure on my face/head caused by the vomiting? I m 60 and take 150mcg of synthroid for hypothyroidism (had graves disease 30 years ago treated with radioactive iodine).

Hi,

As your chief complaint suggests there is s possibility of inflammation in the liver or gallbladder. Due to that, you have developed yellowness in eyes and vomiting, nausea and cramps.

You are advised to get consulted by a physician for physical examination. You may also need tests for liver enzyme estimation. After examination and tests, you can be treated properly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
