What Causes Nausea And Vomiting Along With Diarrhea?

I have had diarrhea, cramping, nausea, vomiting for 5 days - fatigue - basically bed and bathroom. Am out of town on vacation. Went to an urgent care facility and was diagnosed with gastroenteritis and prescribed nofran. Symptoms persist. I have never had this kind of problem for this length of time, I had a prostate biopsy 3 weeks ago. Had some mild loose stools in the am for a few days but nothing serious. Urologist does not not think this is an infection from that procedure due to length of time, I a 62 year old male. Very fit. Trying to figure out what is going on with me.

Hello,

The current condition of nausea, vomiting with diarrhea is due to intestine infection through some sort of bug or bacteria.

Primary care with

@ plenty of liquids intake as boiled water, coconut water, lemon juice
@ bland, vegan diet
@ continue current antibiotic
@ additional prescription of anti emetic ( as ondancetron ), proton pump inhibitor ( as omeprazole ), probiotics ( as lacto bacillus ) will help great.
