What Causes Nausea And Vomiting Along With Fever?

my husband has had nausea & vomiting since last monday. we assumed it was a stomach virus he had been exposed to. He had a fever of 101 on Wed, down to 99 on thurs, gone on fri. consulted by phone w family dr friday who prescribed compazine and told us to go to er if not better by sun am. He improved Saturday, and was able to keep clear liquids down Sat & Sunday. Today tried a soft diet, vomiting started again. He does have a history of gall stones. Still no fever. wondering if this is gall bladder related? Vomit is very green.

Hello,

Here in your case vomiting is present and it is bile stained green color. So, yes it can be gall stone related inflammatory condition. Your work-up done as follows:
• CBC
• CRP
• USG abdomen

Your doctor will do your symptomatic management and if needed antibiotic course will be given Rabeprazole plus Domperidone combination drug also will be given. Consult physician or gastroenterologist for examination and then get your prescription.
