Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 15 year old son has been nauseous lately, but only in the morning for a short period of time. There has been mornings that he has vomited, so therefore he does not eat anything before heading off to school. He is a healthy, active teenager, and we have no family doctor, any suggestions?
Understanding your concern. As per your query your son has nausea and vomiting specially in morning which seems to due to gastrointestinal disturbances. It could be due to electrolyte imbalance and acute gastritis. I would suggest you to take antiemetic like domperidone and ranitidine for gastritis. You should take plenty of fluids. You need to reduce the quantity of food taken per meal. Avoid sharp, spicy and oily food. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined. If you will feel severe symptoms of vomiting you should go to hospital and get antiemetic injection and intrvenous fluids after proper consultation.
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
