What Causes Nausea, Back Pain And Burning Sensation In The Abdomen?

I m having abdominal pain right below my breast abdominal distention along with back pain ... Also occasionally gnawing burning sensation in abdomen and some nausea at times ... With all this occurring mostly in evening and night ... I have been taking Prilosec for about a week ... Help

Hello, Thanks for the query.
The symptoms described are very much similar to hyperacidity or acid peptic disorder. Since you are on Omeprazole for the same, it appears the drug is not fully effective. You will have to look at following things :
1)Take timely food, avoid spicy foods.
2)Refrain from smoking and alcoholic drinks as well as aerated sweetened drinks (colas).
3)For a few days take bland diet.
Plus there may be a need for getting an endoscopy done to see if there is peptic ulcer. Thanks
