What Causes Nausea, Diarrhea, Runny Nose And Stabbing Lower Abdominal Pain?

Whole thing started Monday with diarrhea 25 times and nauseous, Tuesday 10 times diarrhea and nauseous but got stuffy nose, Wednesday 4 times diarrhea but fever of 37 with huge headache when my normal temperature is 35-35.5. Thursday went 4 times diarrhea still stuffy nose and temperature of 37.6 and headache still, yesterday went 3 times diarrhea stuffy/runny nose, temperature 37.2 still headache, today went 10 times diarrhea slightly nauseous and nose is now cleaning up , didnt check temperature today as i didnt feel fverish anymore headache a bit lower and slightly nauseous again. It also hurt my stomach when i ate until today. Around 9 PM today went to diarrhea and couple minutes later i got stabbing pain in my lower right area of my abdomen and hurts more when contracting abdomen or moving leg in certain positions. I had similar pain but with none of the problems as above last year and didnt hurt more based on movement. Went to ER under appendicitis suspicion said its nothing just take painkillers. Is it something serious or just from my diarrhea? Should i sleep and see how it is in the morning? If i wake up because of the pain then should i tell my parents and go to the ER? Also went to family doctor and he didnt say it was anything because he didnt consider 37.6 fever only 38. But i know for a fact fever is based on normal body temp for EX. Normal temp 36/36.5and 38 is a fever so when 35/35.5 then 37 is fever. Thank you for taking a look. Sorry for so much writing but im trying to be as detailed as possible.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to gastroenteritis. I suggest using medication to treat the diarrhea such as Imodium. I also suggest to take daily probiotics and drink liquids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
