What Causes Nausea, Dizziness And Vomiting?

I am a 20 year old female. I experience nausea, on a frequent basis. Sometimes if I can eat something it helps, but not always. If I am unable to eat (due to schedule) symtoms worsen, and vomiting, dizziness, pale, cold sweats and feel like I am going to pass out. My doctor ran a fasting glucose which I was told came back normal. What else could it be if not low blood sugar?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that it is reflux. This is a common cause of nausea and it may not have the typical symptoms of burning chest discomfort, acid taste in the mouth, bloating.

The fact that the symptoms are worse if you do not get to eat on time, makes reflux likely.

Reflux can be treated by lifestyle changes and also with the use of medication as well.
Lifestyle changes include: (1) use of small frequent meals instead of large meals
(2)reducing the use of acidic foods/fried fatty foods/spicy foods/onions/mint/tomatoes/caffeine
(3)weight loss of any excess weight

Medications such as pepcid, nexium, prilosec, prevacid, aciphex, would help as well

I hope this helps
