What Causes Nausea During Passing Stools And Red Flakes In Bowels?

I was about to go to bed feeling just fine when I felt the need to go to the restroom. Upon going I feel nauseated when trying to have a bowel movement and in my stool there are red flakes that almost look like nail polish. My stool is very loose and watery and is also tinted red.

Hello,

I think you should do a stool test immediately. The red flakes in stools may be are blood and diahorrea with blood is a very serious condition possibly shigella and antibiotics may be needed.
