What Causes Nausea, Poor Appetite And Abnormal Sensation Under The Breast?

I feel nauseated and the feeling is located in the middle of my chest under my breast. I have no appetite when this occurs and it usually goes away the next day but I have now felt this way for four days. The doctor has me on Omeprazole but I have been taking for 6 months and my symptoms come and go. Sometimes if I have a bowel movement the nausea will go away. I had a colonoscopy and indoscopy done several months ago and both showed no problems. Any ideas?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is due to hormonal changes.

As first-line management, you can take analgesics like mefenamic acid for pain relief and drugs like domperidone for vomiting.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
