General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From your description, I am of the opinion that Nordette contains progestin and estrogen (they are hormones) and yes they cause nausea as side effects. If your HCG urine test is negative, and still you have confusion you can have a serum HCG test. if that is negative, you must be sure that you are not pregnant.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
