What Causes Nausea To Certain Smells Of The Food?

We were leaving the pizza place with our food, which we had waited inside to be made, and when we got into the car, I was overwhelmed with the smell of vomit. It was so strong I was gagging, however there was no vomit anywhere. Something similar has happened where I have smelled watermelon, when no watermelon was there. What could this be?

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that if some one sick feel after having the food smell then this could be due to the digestion dysfunctions and high sgpt level some time causes such symptoms and this need to be ruled out, hope this information helps you, take care and have nice day.
