What Causes Nausea While Resting?

I wake up and am stuck in bed due to extreme nausea. After about twenty minutes I am able to get up and as long as I keep moving the nausea doesn t bother me, but once I stop to rest the nausea comes flooding back. I have been having these symptoms for about a month know and I would appreciate a little nudge in the right direction for a remedy. Thanks

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

How old are you?? are you having sinus problems?? are you suffering from acid reflux??

Possible causes are like acid reflux or gastrtis or sinusitis or morning sickness or anemia or infection etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Get it done Upper GI endoscopy and x-ray of paranasal sinuses.

Use tablet pantoprazole. Use tablet ondansetron.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
