What Causes Nausea, vomiting And Headache In A Diabetic Person?

I m a 54 yo mwm over weight with type 2 diabetes which is controlled. I am normally a active person and physically work hard and enjoy it. For about six weeks now, whenever I been physically active I get nauseous and vomit followed by headache and dizziness and being disoriented . After vomiting, 10 /15 mins I feel better and back to work. 30 to 45 mins later vomiting and same symptions all over again. I m a weekend warrior and just push through it to get my projects completed. A few weekends ago over two days I must have vomited 40 times. I have checked my blood sugar and it is not related to low or high blood sugar but the symptions feel just like low blood sugar. My family doctor said just don t do the activity that makes me sick, but that not an option. Any suggestions

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may want to check your blood pressure and also ensure that you are using enough fluids.

It is possible that your symptoms are related to this rather than your blood sugar since these readings are normal.

In terms of fluids consider the use of sport drinks which would replace not just fluids but electrolytes as well.

I hope this helps
