What Causes Neck And Shoulder Scratches With Small Wounds?
Most likely from some insect bite, as i cant trace any other factor, some scratches and very small wounds , along with redness, soreness and discomfort, not burning, I am having at the joint of neck and left shoulder for last 5 days. From yesterday I am applying NEBASULF powder twice a day. I am not sure of curative effect.
Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
no if you suspect it as insect bite, you should take steroid, antihistaminic and if in pain take analgesics. which is respectively prednisolone, chlorpheniramine maleate and aceclofenac. as you are applying the antibiotic cream no other antibiotics are required. I am mentioning here a pharmacological name you should look for the appropriate local brands in your area after consulting your family physician.
