What Causes Neck Pain After Laminectomy?

I had a laminectomy on my neck last September and am now racked with pain in the neck area where i had this surgery. After the neorologist thought I was having migraines, he sent me to a headache specialist. No help there since it stems from my neck area. Finally today at the Dr. visit he rescehduled me to see the surgeon and have a cervical AP & LAT with bending x-ray. Can you tell me what this will x-ray? Thank you so much - Suzanne
