What Causes Neck Pain Along With Severe Headaches?

I am a 64 year old female, I have never had head aches, then beginning in May of 2016 I started having neck pain when I turned my head, that turned into pressure headaches which have become progressively worse. My Dr. Has twice ordered an MRI Brain & Cervical spine scan which my insurance has denied... My question is could this pain & pressure be caused by inflammation, & is there some natural way to reduce the inflammation if that is the problem?

Hi

Neck pain and headache points towards cervical strain and need cervical spine X-ray and MRI cervical spine .
Till these follow .

1 . Do not bend head forward for long time .
2 . Use small pillow at night
3. Maintain proper posture of head and whole spine while reading and sitting
4. Do cervical spine exercises you can find these on google on internet .
But exercises to be done for 1 minute at a time three times a day, slowly increase timings

Hope these tips help you.

Take Care
