What Causes Neck Pain And Vomiting Sensation After A Injury?
I fell and hit my head on concrete floor and hit the back of my neck on a elliptical wheel. Now i cant sit down without feeling pain in my neck and back and feeling like i am going to throw up. I have had 4 glasses of whiskey and i just threw up what do i do? i have not taken any pain relievers yet.
Post head injury there may be chances of intra cranial bleed(i.e bleeding within the skull) which may result in increased intra cranial pressure
When the pressure inside the skull increases then it may put press the vomiting centres located in the brain and that may result in vomiting
If I were your treating doctor would have advised antiemitics(eg Perinorm, Ondem) which could act at central nervous system and suggest if you can get a MRI to rule out any organic cause
the tablets can be taken hour hour before food and if you still have the symptoms after taking the tablets then MRI to be done
Wish You Good Health
Regards
