What Causes Neck Stiffness And Pain With Limitation Of Movement?

i slept funny i think tuesday night and since then i have had a really stiff neck down the right hand side and got very limited movement till the pain kicks in,.. its been about 4 days now i tried hot showers deep heat, ice packs none of it seems to work... any ideas on what i can do?
