What Causes Neck Stiffness, Headache And Ear Pain After An Injury?

I hit the top corner of my head on a solid wood log bird house yesterday. Ever since I have had ear pain, neck stiffness and pain in the cheek bone. I have had a headache ever since and just feel groggy. I am having diarrhea and feeling nauseated do I need to be seen?

Hi,

Take analgesics like Ibuprofen tablets 3 times daily after food for 3 days. Diarrhea is unrelated; if there is no fever, and the stools are not blood stained, taking plenty of fluids like ORS to avoid dehydration might be enough. Take in small frequent sips to avoid vomiting. Take Ondansetron 8 mg tablets for vomiting if needed. If you are not getting better in 3 days, kindly consult your doctor for further evaluation

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
