What Causes Negative Thoughts And Obsessive Nature?
I feel like my husband needs help. He looks for the negative. He s short in conversation. lost weight then gained weight. Thinks people think badly of him. Obsesses over bad things that could happen. He has moved out of the home but stays connected in ways that he shouldn t do if he wanted permanency.

Most likely he is having underlying generalized anxiety disorder and needs a psychiatrist review. Systemic or objective causes should be ruled out after examination and baseline investigations with Thyroid profile, sugar levels etc but symptoms likely point to a psychiatric origin or his disease.
