What Causes Nerve Root Compression?

hi there my docyor had diagnosed me with cervical spondylosis in my neck ive had this pain for the past 13 years and for the last 3 years it has become so unbearable with pins and needle in my hands and fingers leg spasms in my both right and left leg pain in my lower limb (thigh area) the pain radiated from the neck so severly to shoulders to the arm and behing the eyes with bladder incontinence i have woken in the middle of the night not realising this and am able to get up and clean as the pain is too much i am literally motionless and completely weak all over i have had an mri and ct scan and was told i have problem with the sine /nerve root compression can you tell me what the correct terminology is with this illness and is this some form of disability your advise will be most helpful thankyou
