What Causes Nervousness And BP Fluctuations During 8 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Hi I m around 8 to 9 weeks pregnant. Wenever I visit my Gynac I become very nervous so wen she checks my BP it always seems to be very high. Wen I get my BP it checked outside it s always lower than the normal range. Today my Gynac advised me to take Alphadopa daily one tab. What do I do to overcome this nervousness nd avoid my BP fluctuations??? This is my first pregnancy.

hi, if your BP is elevated only in the hospital set up and normal outside the premises of hospital its a white coat hypertension. anxiety prone, 1st timers are more prone to this. talk to your gynec about it and try to relax. do you have any family history of hypertension,hypertension specifically in pregnancy,anxiety. its only 8 weeks we wait for 20 weeks for label it as pregnancy induced Hypertension but it has to be present with other symptoms.
