What Causes Neuropathic Pain And Tingling Sensation Of Hands In A Diabetic?
I m a male, 47 years old. I have diabetes but glucose and A1C are within normal ranges without medication due to change in diet only. I rarely exercise. What drove me to my PCP a few years ago was the shooting pains in my feet - neuropathy. Metformin and gabapentin was prescribed for me at the time, and I lost 160 pounds, got off the medication, except now the neuropathy is spreading. I thought since I was off all meds, shooting pains went away, it would be under control. I now have neuropathy and tingling in my hands. My concern is could this turn into M.S.? Thank you.
