Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Night Sweats Along With Dizziness While Having Insomnia?
My boyfriend who is 39 went to A & E at the beginning of the week, with similar syptoms of a heart attack. All was fine though. However he is having night sweats, dizziness, can t concentrate, feels lethargic, suffering from insomnia. Doesn t feel sick though.
These are the symptoms of discomfort and restlessness due to heart problem. Get your boyfriend to have a thorough cardiac check-up. He should get CBC, Urinalysis, Lipid functions, ECG, Echocardiography, MRI, CT done to rule out any developing cardiac pathology. He needs to be physically examined, evaluated & get treated at the earliest.
In the meantime, let him abstain from oily food, creams, trans-fat oils, dairy products. He should take boiled, home made food. Do regular exercises, abstain from addictions if any.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
General & Family Physician
