Hi,

By your history and description, possibility of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) is more likely. GERD is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this, the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause chest pain, bloating, burping, nausea, vomiting, etc.

So better to take him to gastroenterologist and get done upper GI (gastrointestinal) scopy. He may need Pantoprazole and Levosulperide combination on empty stomach twice. Tell him to avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Avoid smoking and alcohol if he has these habits. Don't worry, he will be alright.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
