What Causes No Bleeding After Taking Mifepristone For Abortion?
Good morning, 2 days ago I took Mifepristone (I hope that was original medicine) - Wednesday evening. After 26 hours I took first dose of Misoprostol-Cytotec 200mg, then in 3,5-4 hrs another dose and then in 3,5-4 hrs last doze (4 tablets per each dose, 12 in total). I took Misorpostol vaginally, nothing came out as I laid down. It s been now 5 hrs since last dose of Misoprostol and nothing is going on. No bleeding, no cramps. I am/was 3 weeks. I don t know what to do, shall I wait longer? How long? What if still nothing happens? Should I repeat all? Both Mifepristone and Misoprostol? When should I do it? It is now weekend so may be problem with deliveries...

Understand your concern
Mifepristone and misoprostol should be used under the expert guidance of gynecologist for medical termination of early (up to 9 week) intrauterine pregnancy after doing USG and proper investigations. In which misoprostol 600 mg should be followed by misoprostol 800 ug after 48 hour vaginally/orally, maximum 3 dose every 3-4 hourly. So according to your history you used maximum dose. Normally bleeding will occur with in 1-2 hours after using last pill. Wait for one day for bleeding. Consult the gynecologist immediately if excessive bleeding (> 2 pads/hr for consecutive 2 hour) excessive abdominal cramp, fever. If nothings happens, again consult the gynecologist and go for USG. It can be managed by surgical process like suction evacuation or D & C.
Cause of no bleeding are: incorrect medicine, ectopic pregnancy, incorrect application (thats why should be done under proper guidance)
Do not repeat the dose as it causes more complication and future pregnancy problem
