General Surgeon 's  Response
HI.
This enlarged lymph node is now in the stage of hyperplasia, in which the mass of the node has grown permanently and may not be a cause of concern unless it shows some other signs.
The Hard node is more suggestive of a secondary of a Cancer or rarely due to calcification.
I would advise a patient like this the following investigations:
*Hemogram, Urine tests
* FNAC- fine needle aspiration cytology to get a diagnosis of reason for its enlargement.
* CT scan of the sinuses as there is history of sinusitis, of the neck to find other lymph nodes , whether they are also involved but not yet palpable.

This should give a fair guideline for the diagnosis and further management .
