Hi,

The causes of your symptoms after accident in car crash with neck injury can be due to the following reasons:
- The neck muscles and soft tissues go into fibrosis and thus can cause internal changes affecting the neck vertebrae, their joints.
- The vertebral arteries go through the lamillae of neck vertebrae. The flow can be affected over time causing the vertigo and tinnitus on the same side.
- Hence it is important to get an MRI of the neck, vertebrae, and angiography. This may show the cause.
- The indirect trauma to the ears that is mastoid during car accidents can cause tinnitus due to trauma to the cochlea or affecting the blood supply to the area.
- Vascular loop over vestibulocochlear nerve can cause tinnitus.
- Detailed investigations can help to find the cause and get treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
