What Causes Nose Bleed In Case Of An Ovarian Cancer?
I have stage 4 ovarian cancer and receive chemotherapy (Gemzar and carboplatin). I also had an injection about 9 days ago of Neulasta. I received a blood and platelet transfusion yesterday. My blood type is A negative but that was not available so I was given a Rho (D) Immune Globulin injection. Today I had another nose bleed, not bad, but my eyes are very bloodshot, not pin points, but vessel strings. I have right shoulder pain. Should I be concerned and call my doctor?

Hello dear. I have gone through your details. Most likely cause of your nose bleed in your case is due to low platelet levels. You should get your platelet levels checked and consult your doctor afterwards. You may require platelet transfusion again. Hope that solves your problem. Take care
