What Causes Nose Bleeding Along With Chest Congestion?

when i get real upset about my marital problems, my nose will start gushing blood for up to a half hour. why and what do i do. and sometimes i also have chest pains that feel kind of like a charley horse. its hard to do this while my nose is still gushing... when im upset with my marital problems my nose will gush blood for up to a half hour. why /

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are suffering with bleeding in the nose and a feeling of Charley horse . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like infection , trauma , allergic and nonallergic rhinitis. , hypertension and use of blood thinning medications .

I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI and do physical examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics . For now do icing of node and compress it for few minutest to stop bleeding . Put pressure on nose while bleeding with cotton gauze .
