What Causes Nose Bleeding In A Child?

my son (5 yrs old) passed out and got a concussion a little over 1 month ago. he has been acting fine and normal since we took him to his doctor when it happened. today, out of nowhere, his nose began to bleed for a good 10-15 minutes. should I be concerned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
yes you have to be concerned about his epistaxis(nose bleeding). I think you should consult with an otolaryngologist and then you may need to run some tests like CBC ,BT,CT based on physical examination.
