Hi there,
Well, usually nosebleed is not something serious. Some children have more superficial blood vessels in their nasal mucosa than others. Because of this, they are easier to break when you pinch, sound or rub your nose, or when you accidentally hit it. But sometimes, bleeding may be due to a blood clotting problem. This can be confirmed with a
blood test.
However, you should only go to the doctor if:
If there is a possibility that the nose may be fractured.
If bleeding can not be cut.
If you have frequent
nosebleeds that take more than 15 minutes to sag.
If you have a respiratory problem.
If you bleed for some more point, such as your ears or gums.
If the child has a foreign body stuck in his nose.
I hope this would be helpful to you, if you have any other concern feel free to ask, i'll be glad to help you.
Regards,
Dr. Valentina Romero.
