I ve been experiencing nosebleeds recently. this is unusal for myself. bleedings have lasted up to 10 minutes. Last night I spitted out a mass of blood... which could have been mucus because I have been experiencing dry nose and have been spraying nose with saline ..... should I be concerned. I am taking eye drop Rx Prolensa along with Rx for high blood pressure and cholest....
You are experiencing nosebleeds which are unusual for you. You have high blood pressure (bp), please monitor your bp and record the results. We want to rule out spikes in bp that would cause nosebleeds.
Having dry nose can cause local trauma, making the nasal mucosa more sensible. This can be associated with nosebleeds.
I advise to consult with ORL specialist to evaluate the changes on the nasal mucosa. You might need nose cautery.
Hope this helps.
