HI I am an active working 67 female who had a first nosebleed 2days ago, after having a normal lunch. It lasted about 15 minutes. This morning after getting up to go to the bathroom around 4, and after laying back down, another nosebleed. I am concerned. My blood pressure is normal, and I only have thyroid issues, which are controlled by daily medicine. thanks for your help
Dry air is the most common cause of nosebleeds. Living in a dry climate and using a central heating system can dry out the nasal membranes. Allergy is another possible cause of nose bleeding. I suggest using a saline nasal spray for local application. I also suggest to drink a lot of liquids.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
