What Causes Nose Bleeding?

Hi. I m 19 years old and I have random nose bleeds very often. I ve been having them since age 15 16, some where around from what I remember. I get them during work, sometimes when I m sleeping, or right when I wake up, or even when I m in the shower, and just when doing nothing. Is this something that happens to quite a few people? Cause I know it ain t normal.

Hello,

It may be due to dry nose. For that you can apply nasal saline drops locally. Do blood pressure monitoring. Avoid hot and humid environment. Use humidifier. In case of bleeding pinch the nose properly for 10 mins. Avoid forceful blowing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
