What Causes Nose Bleeds And How To Stop Them?

I have recently started having nose bleeds, they come on suddenly at work, home and when I wake up in the AM. I have been to the doctor and he gave me medication for two weeks but after the two weeks I have had more nose bleeds. Two yesterday and so far one today. What can I do or should I be as worried as I am?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Nosebleeds can be related to many medical conditions.
Nosebleeds aren't usually serious.
However, frequent or heavy nosebleeds may indicate more serious health problems, such as high blood pressure or a blood clotting disorder.
They should be checked with examinations.
Meanwhile,I suggest using saline nasal spray for local application.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
