What Causes Nose Bleeds And Pain In Arms And Legs?

Hi, my 6 year old son was diagnosed with raised ICP 6months ago and is being closely monitored. We have frequent opthalmic appts and OCT scans. In the 6 months since diagnosis there has been no improvement of symptoms in fact on the whole despite the few good days we are deteriorating. He is being treat with LP s and 10mg furosemide twice daily and 250mg acetazolamide twice daily.We are now experiencing frequent nose bleeds and complaints regularly of pains in arms and legs...... is this a sign of failing medication or the ICP is raised again after last being drained on 30/12/2016 or could this be the medication? Thanks in advance

Hi,

Thanks for your question on HCM

I do understand your pain and discomforts

As per your clinical history is concerned you had written as he has increased intracranial pressure increased but i want to clarify that what is his MRI scan finding because in several conditions it will increase and treatment depends upon specific reasons only. Due to intracranial lesions there will be nose bleed so treatment is surgical if it is due to tumor.
