What Causes Nosebleed Followed By Headache?

31 weeks pregnant. Woke up this morning to a nose bleed followed by a headache on the right side of my head behind eye and on temple. And my face feels weird on that side at the top around eye n side by temple. My mother had a brain anyerisim had to have emergency surgery in her early 30s im 31? Im worried

Hi,

You need not worry about aneurysm now. Epistaxis is not the usual presentation here. Nose bleeds are most commonly caused dryness of nasal mucosa and nose pricking. But since it is associated with headache, we have to check blood pressure to rule out hypertension. Get your blood pressure checked and avoid nose pricking. Sitting bending forward with pinched nose can stop bleed for now.
