What Causes Nosebleeds And Coughing Up Of Blood?

Hi . My girlfriend just told me about her problem .... She said few days back when she woke up she find blood from mouth whem she cough. .and also from her nose ??? She also had cold And she find problem in breathing too !! And this happen for 2 days.... What must be the reson ???

It could be possible for cold to cause this. Cold affects your respiratory system. At the level of the nostrils, it can cause an inflammation known as rhinitis which can manifest with mild bleeding. At the level of lungs, it can cause an inflammation known as bronchitis. At times bronchitis could lead to bloody sputum.

Generally, coughing up of blood is not a sign that should be taken lightly. It is always important for a patient to be properly assessed when he/she presents with this. The causes might be simple or severe.

Despite the fact that she has a cough that can give these symptoms, it would be important for her to see a doctor for proper assessment and management.
