What Causes Numb Toes After Treating Fifth Metatarsal Fracture?

Hi I broke my 5th metatarsal about 5 weeks ago. It is heeled now. As my doctor said. And their is a slight bump. Which he said is normal for now. But my big toe and second toe feel numb and started to feel numb when I broke it. Also if I touch my foot at the top it seems like there is a nerve and of I touch it the two toes tingle. I m wondering if any of this is normal and if it will go away soon

Thanks for your query on Healthcare Magic
Dear friend I am Dr Kingson would like to answer your questions

In my view your concern for numbness of finger is mainly because of trauma. If there is any swelling i suggest you to elevate limb to reduce edema.

Hope this is useful
