What Causes Numbness After Taking Crystal Meth?

After injecting crystal meth into my right arm I had numbness down the forearm to the wrist. It then spread to the upper arm also. I am able to use it like normal and make a fist, lift things etc.

Are there possible serious consequences? Should I be having it examined by a doctor?

Hi,

Most probably you missed the vein and the surrounding tissues and nerves were exposed to the drug. This could have caused an inflammatory reaction. The numbness should improve in a couple of days. If it doesn't, then do see a doctor.

Best wishes.
