What Causes Numbness All Over The Body?

Husband having numbness all over body, not just skin, but deeper. When he breathes in, sometimes it s like cold air entering and sometimes hot air entering also feels as prerspiring inside. Not a reaction to meds as we have put each on hold. When first gets up, listen to TV and he says it sounds like they are all in a deep hole.

Hello,

Since your husband is getting uncomfortable after watching TV, he is suggested to avoid watching it. Instead he can hear some good music or read a book, do gardening, painting, singing, etc. He is suggested to relax and reduce stress. Take adequate rest and sleep. If possible he should get a massage to help ease the discomfort and increase the blood circulation. Medical conditions that cause numbness in the body are Neurological disorder, MS, Lupus, Peripheral neuropathy, diabetes, nerve compression, slipped discs, etc.

He is suggested to get clinically examined by a Neurologist, get Blood tests, Urinalysis, MRI, CT, NVC tests, nerve biopsy done to detect the factor/pathology causing him discomfort. He will be treated accordingly. He should do regular exercise and walking. He should take food rich in B1, B6, B12 or supplements. He is suggested to quit addictions if any.
