What Causes Numbness And Black Discoloration Of Toes?

Please type your query here...my husband had a toe amputated about 3 years ago he had no therapy os medication afterwards they told him he was 100% ok to go back to work 2 days later with the stitches still in now the problem is that the other two toes adjacent to it is turning black and they have no feeling and cannot move is this normal?
