What Causes Numbness And Burning Pain Across The Abdomen Along With Cramps?

Hi, I ve been experiencing numbing and burning pain across the top of my abdomen. Also occasional horrible cramps on both the left and right sides of my upper abdomen. Finally pain on the right side of my abdomen (underneath the rib cage) that radiates to the back (gallbladder was removed 7 years ago). Would appreciate any insight. Thanks

Hi.

The pain on the right side of your abdomen could be due to the removal of the gall bladder, but the pain in the center or upper abdomen on either sides could either be a digestive tract issue or one to do with your entire gastrointestinal tract (GIT) and may require an evaluation by a gastroenterologist for further confirmation and management. In the meantime, drink plenty of water and take 1 tablet of 30 mg lansoprazole once daily.

Best wishes.
