What Causes Numbness And Discomfort On The Left Side Of The Face?
The left side of my temple and left side of my face fells weird and numb I wish I could explain exactly what I m felling cause this has been a big pain in a butt for a long time and I just wish I knew was this is. Can you please give me some good advice or tell me what this means.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of numbness and discomfort on the left side of the face which is because of facial nerve paralysis which is mainly due to stress or viral infection which was dormant and reactivated due to certain trigger and causes a feel of muscle mull to one side.
Usually this condition resolves its own in few weeks. I would suggest you to start exercise of facial muscles along with physical therapy of muscles. You should consult oral surgeon or neurosurgeon for proper evaluation of the condition and to rule out systemic causes and can start treatment accordingly. Try to blow out from cheeks.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
